Secure M advises that you should undertake a check on your legal requirements prior to shredding, as there are Laws regarding the period of time you legally must retain certain documents.

Important Considerations:

• If you are unsure how long to retain specific documents, consult your accountant or the Australian Taxation Office ( ATO).

• Destroying documents too early can be illegal. If required to produce records that no longer exist, you may be held liable and could face legal consequences.

Following these guidelines helps ensure compliance and protects you from potential disputes or penalties.

A Certificate of Destruction is always issued with your invoice and is free of charge.

We issue keys.

Please note that it is very important not to leave keys in the bin lock. They should be stored in a safe place.

There is no need for you to wait for delivery / pick up of bin if there is a secure location where it can be placed.

Regarding keys:

On delivery keys can be left as advised by customer.

On pickup , the keys can be left as arranged with the customer.

If your boxes are odd sizes, this is not a problem. Please contact our office.

Boxes need to be in good condition and not falling apart when picked up.
